This week, lawmakers returned to Capitol Hill only to face a critical deadline. Congress has until September 30th to agree on a continuing resolution that will keep the government funded through March of next year. However, after attaching legislation that would require voters to show proof of citizenship, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) delayed a vote on a temporary spending bill in an attempt to build consensus within his party. FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram explains the math needed to avoid a government shutdown ahead of Election Day. Abortion and ranked-choice voting are the two most important questions for voters this November. Abortion remains the top issue, with ten states including related measures on their ballots.
